We have two upcoming Year of the Child events, which will be run by the Pride@CNWL Staff Network as part of LGBT+ History Month. 

The sessions will cover:

  • Supporting LGBT+ children and young people
  • The challenges LGBT+ people face

This will be a non-judgemental space where staff can ask the questions relevant to their working practices and share experiences.

Event Date

The first session aims to help staff working with children and young people to develop their skills and knowledge to better support LGBT+ individuals. 

 Tuesday 7 February
2pm to 4pm
The second session is aimed at staff who are parents to develop their knowledge in supporting their own LGBT+ children through some of the issues they may be facing.  Wednesday 15 February
2pm to 4pm

The sessions will be presented by the Co-chairs of Pride@CNWL LGBT+ Staff Network.
