As one of the largest providers of children’s healthcare in the country, CNWL wanted to make sure children get the focus and attention they deserve.
Year of the Child promotes our diverse portfolio of services who touch the lives of children from before they are born until they leave for college – from mental health, learning disabilities and immunisations through to sexual health and young offender services.
It showcases the exceptional work our teams do, amplifies their voice in the Trust and supports service development.
We’ll be running a calendar of educational workshops, all facilitated by staff. See the events and training calendar below for details of upcoming sessions. We've covered topics such as young people's experiences of being in care, youth justice, supporting LGBTQ+ young people, substance use and harm minisimisation plus many more!
On this page you'll find the latest news and staff stories, newsletters and resources. You can also find links to previous Year of the Child sessions.
We’ve created a series of films and stories with our staff, showing their working and clinical experiences, highlighting how rewarding their role is, and why they’re so passionate about working with young people.
