Ceylon Dell, Team Manager for Milton Keynes Community Mental Health Hub has been published in the Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing for her article on “The Risks of Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health Care”.
Ceylon, who also completed the CNWL Chief Nurse Fellowship programme, the Trust’s development programme for nurses said:
“This article was written as I have an interest in artificial intelligence and it’s uses specifically for community mental health teams. Although the focus is on nursing, all mental health professionals provide assessment and interventions and the purpose of the article is to start having honest conversations about what AI could be used for in community mental health teams. The key message is any use of AI for mental health assessment, be it direct patient contact or administrative purposes requires clinical oversight.”
