We’re pleased to announce that following the recent assessment, CNWL has achieved a rating of 'Fully Compliant' in this year’s Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response (EPRR) assurance process.

EPRR assessment is led by NHS England to evaluate how prepared NHS organisations are to handle emergencies and maintain essential services during crises. It sets out expectations for how healthcare organisations should respond to incidents that could impact healthcare delivery, like natural disasters, pandemics, cyber-attacks, and other significant disruptions.

Organisations are rated on their preparedness, and a ‘Fully Compliant’ rating means CNWL has met or exceeded all the standards, showing a high level of preparedness and resilience.

CNWL was commended for our proactive engagement with the wider health system, including leading joint exercises for the Notting Hill Carnival and chairing the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion sub-group of the London Local Health Resilience Partnership.

The assessment also recognised innovative practices, such as automated reminders for updating business continuity plans and the creation of accessible estate mapping to enhance response capabilities.

Christopher Benson, North West London ICB EPRR Lead, said:

“The panel recognised the hard work that the organisation has continued to put into EPRR and business continuity arrangements this past year, noting the impact of numerous incidents and industrial action.”
