Oasis Restore is the first Secure School in the country; Secure Schools are the new model of secure settings for children who have been remanded or sentenced by a Court.
Oasis Restore will be funded by the Ministry of Justice and NHS England and Improvement (NHSE&I) through a funding agreement as opposed to a commercial contract.
Oasis Restore will have a planned maximum capacity of 49 children of all genders aged between 12 and 18 years. They will live in small ‘flats’ with a maximum of 6 children in each flat and will attend a therapeutic education provision on the site.
