The Children’s Integrated therapy service are running some virtual training sessions for education and early years staff over 2 weeks from 8th – 19th November 2021. For further information, please download this flyer.

We are offering an adapted service due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

We are currently able to accept referrals but first contact will be carried out by phone. During this initial assessment a member of the team will discuss your concerns, offer advice and agree the next steps. We are only offering follow up face-to-face appointments where it is clinically necessary and safe to do so otherwise these will also be offered virtually.

Please remember that both families, settings and professionals can get advice from a therapist without needing to make a referral. Please call the Advice line on 01895 488 200 and a therapist will call you back. The therapist can help decide if a referral is needed and give you some immediate advice. In addition please have a look at all of the resources and information that is available on this website to help your child.

What you can do if you are concerned about your child's development:

Compassion.jpgOur staff are kind, emphatic and use family centered approaches that put children, young people and families at the heart of everything we do. We all contribute to a compassionate environment for everyone to make make the lives of other better.

We use joint goal setting and shared decision making to make sure that the voices of children, young people and families are heard and respected throughout the therapy process.

Empowerment.jpgWe empower children, young people and families to develop the skills and confidence to manage their own health and well-being. We also empower other important people in the child/young person's life so that they can be supported throughout the day.

Partnership.jpgWe partner with education and work with local services to increase opportunities for the child/young person. We discuss with them ways to improve the service provision. We encourage parent/carers and young people to be involved in new developments and to give us feedback.

All of our work contributes to CNWL's overall vision of 'well-being for life'. Our aim is to provide a quality service that meets the needs of the individual child/young person.
